Simply selects a service result as its Output – the same construction as a service Input to a more general transformation. For example, you might use a Service transformation in order to link the Deployment of a local access resource to the number of Connections to a service.
Basis
You can choose which service result defines the Output from the following:
-
Connections
-
Average Connections
-
Traffic
-
Busy Hour Traffic
-
Revenue
-
Annual Traffic
-
Annual Revenue
-
New Connections.
You must ensure that the Capacity Unit of any resource, required by this transformation, is compatible with the Basis you have chosen, so that if, for example, the Basis of the transformation is
Traffic, the capacity of the secondary resource is defined in terms of the Traffic Unit for the service.
A Service transformation is equivalent to a Multiplier transformation with a service Input and Multiplier set to 1.
